Automotive Components Manufacturer Currently Has the Highest Level of Electrical Safety
15 November 2019, Power management company Eaton has announced that Antolin Group, one of the world's largest manufacturers of automobile internal equipment, will now use its own electrical safety solutions in its data centers. Antolin Group chose Eaton and Cistec Technology, an innovative system integrator, to provide the highest level of reliability and availability to the data centers located on its premises. With this solution, Antolin Group has a safe and reliable system that will protect the company against risks in the event of a power outage.
A power outage, for example, can shut down the plant's production lines and damage its vehicles.
Another benefit of this new solution was the ability to remotely manage all of the Antolin Group's data centers from the company's headquarters in Burgos.
This solution; It is based on Eaton 9PX UPS units powered by dual-cycle technology that reduce electricity consumption by 40% and increase power by 28%, and Eaton Intelligent Power Manager (IPM) software, which provides the tools needed to monitor and manage IT resources in both physical and virtual environments. The equipment used also includes Eaton ATS16 transfer switches, which can power the devices from two different power sources, and the Eaton EMP001 humidity and temperature sensor, which allows monitoring of ambient conditions for the equipment.
