The 'CDT Technology Day' organized by CDT, which is the pioneer of the sector with the value-added services it offers and the activities it organizes in order for its customers to reach their Industry 4.0 goals, was held in Ankara again this year with intense participation. Presentations on PCB (SI/PI and PCB Design), XJTAG Workshop, Integrated Electrical Systems Design, Smart Manufacturing Solutions, IC Design and Verification, Reliability Engineering and 3D Printing Technologies in Electronics were made by expert speakers.
CDT Technology Day, opening and closing activities, as well as parallel presentations held in six different halls were followed with admiration by the participants. In the presentations of national and international speakers who are experts in their fields; They informed the participants about the newly announced products and technologies in electronic card design, developments in integrated circuit design, smart production approach in card production automation, developing applications for the design and production of cabling and cable harnesses, technologies that carry test opportunities to a different dimension, and developing technologies in design and verification processes.
Amit Dror, Founder and CEO of Nano Dimension, who made a special presentation about the three-dimensional printer DragonFly Pro 2020, which started a new era of "3D Printed Electronics" with its multi-layer production technology in electronics, explained the benefits and new possibilities that three-dimensional printer technologies will provide. Amit Dror said the following about his presentation at the event:
"The design of all the electronic devices that we meet our needs today was confined to certain patterns due to the standards of the printed circuit boards in them. Now, thanks to DragonFly, these molds have been shattered, and it is still possible to produce PCBs of all shapes and sizes. In addition to the unlimited imagination it offers to the design process, the production and control of the PCB prototype and the reduction of the stages of eliminating and reproducing it if there is an error on a clockwise basis provide significant added value and reduce costs. In this context, it was very useful to share the developments to be experienced in the coming period with the participants at CDT Technology Day."
Expressing their satisfaction with the interest shown in CDT Technology Day, CDT General Manager Alpay Göğüş evaluated the event as follows: "We deliver Groundbreaking New Technologies in Electronics to Turkey's leading companies and companies working on product design and development in the countries of the region with the solutions we offer and the companies we represent. This year, the participation in the 'CDT Technology Day', which we organized in order to share the developments in the topics we serve with the leading company representatives of the sector, to bring them together with the experts of both local and foreign companies, and at the same time to evaluate the reflections of these developments on our country, was as intense as we expected. We think that this event, where we share the vision that CDT offers to the Electronics sector in terms of digitalization with Siemens, is very useful. We are happy to bring all our solutions first-hand to more than 300 participants representing more than 90 companies."
Göğüş concluded his remarks by stating that 'CDT Technology Day', which is the most comprehensive event organized in Turkey on electronic design and production technologies, is positioned as an important event of the sector where many topics requiring special expertise are presented to the participants and will be organized regularly.
