On the second day of the EIF International Energy Congress and Exhibition, which was opened by the Minister of Energy and Natural Resources Fatih Dönmez and hosted workshops and sessions for three days, Solarbaba held the session "Expectations of the Solar Energy Sector in the New Period".

In the session moderated by Solarbaba founder Ateş Uğurel, Isotec Energy Director Erkan Öztürk, O2 Group Founder Özgür Sarpdağ, Türk Prysmian Kablo Industrial Sales Manager Canberk Belibağlı and Naturel Enerji General Manager Cem Göç discussed the expectations of the sector and possible solutions to the problems. Referring to the importance of unsubsidized solar energy, Solarbaba founder Ateş Uğurel said about YETA (Renewable Energy Supply Agreements) "Within the scope of the new regulations, the areas where electricity production from solar energy will be the first choice will be consumption points, the electricity produced from the sun on the roofs will be consumed by the factory, hotel, shopping center under the roof, but the area of the existing roofs is not enough to meet the needs of the enterprises. Therefore, with YETA, every electricity consumer should have the chance to provide electricity from any solar or wind power plant installed in Turkey with long-term contracts." Referring to the digital transformation in energy and the contribution that bilateral agreements that can be implemented in unlicensed solar power plants will make to the economy, Ateş Uğurel also drew attention to value-added production.

In addition to renewable energy supply agreements, current legislation issues such as bilateral contract, roof leasing and offsetting in rooftop solar power plant applications were discussed in the session. Current problems ranging from technical and legal problems in the field to new mini YEKAs and 5.1ç-c regulations, from investment problems in the sector to different financial solutions were discussed.

12. In the conference program of the International Energy Congress and Exhibition, important sessions such as the world and Turkey energy agenda, energy and distribution issues session, energy sector and philandering, digitalization in energy, future mobile technologies, energy technology production and indigenization took place.

SolarCadde brought the sector together on the same street for the 5th time

"SolarCadde", which was organized for the 5th time this year and became traditional with the participation of solar energy companies, came together with EIF visitors again this year. About SolarCadde, a Solarbaba project that brings together clean energy friends with the participation of 28 companies serving in the solar energy sector, Uğurel said, "As Solarbaba, the starting point of 'SolarCadde', which we started to implement for the first time 5 years ago at EIF, is that solar energy is one of the most democratic resources in the world. With this belief, SolarCadde brings together different players in equal areas on a special street reserved for us in the exhibition environment. In this way, the opportunity to compete not with the size of the area, but with the understanding of quality and service is caught."
