Stating that they started to export to Denmark and the Netherlands in 2020, when they made intensive efforts for the continuation of production and exports despite the pandemic, Elektra Electronics General Manager Emin Armağan Şakar said that they would focus on South America in 2021. Stating that they aim to grow by 15 percent in 2021 while closing their turnover with 8 percent growth based on foreign currency this year, Şakar said that they plan to produce new generation electronic products with stronger R & D studies in their renewed and growing factories and to follow production, warehouse tracking and all other business processes from the cloud as a result of the digitalization investments they have increased in recent years.

Elektra Elektronik, which is the leading company in the low-voltage transformer and reactor sector in Turkey in terms of production capacity, number of employees and export rate, showed 8 percent growth in its turnover on a foreign currency basis in 2020 by working intensively for the continuation of production and exports despite the pandemic. With the impact of digitalization and R&D investments that the company has focused on in recent years, the company has set its growth target for 2021 as 15 percent. Elektra Elektronik, which exports transformers and electronic products to nearly 60 countries in 6 different continents, has also put new export markets on its radar in 2021.

Target new markets in 2021

Stating that exports constitute 50 percent of the total turnover as a company, Elektra Elektronik General Manager Emin Armağan Şakar said, "We export to 60 countries in 6 different continents in total, especially in China, Spain, Germany, France, New Zealand countries, Africa, Middle East and South America regions, especially in China, Spain, Germany, France and New Zealand countries. Denmark and the Netherlands, which have been among our target markets for some time, supplied electronic products related to energy quality from Italy. Due to the production delays in Italy due to the pandemic, we supported Denmark and the Netherlands, which allowed us to develop new relationships. We have also focused on South America, which we started exporting in 2020, for 2021, and we aim to increase our effectiveness by reaching new countries in this region."

With the pandemic, it accelerated the production of products for the health sector

Stating that they export their medical transformers, which offer added value to the health sector, to England, France, Czech Republic, Jordan and Colombia, Şakar continued his words as follows; "During the pandemic period, the importance of the health sector has increased even more both in our country and in the world. Within the scope of coronavirus measures, Prof. Dr. Dr. In addition to Murat Dilmener Emergency Hospital, we offer special solutions for medical isolation power panel and operating room control panel systems in approximately 130 different hospitals and clinics throughout Turkey. However, new hospitals were built all over the world. At this point, we are working to add new countries to our exports to the health sector."

"2021 will be a year in which we will follow all our business processes from the cloud"

Commenting on the digital transformation investments they have made as Elektra Elektronik, Şakar said, "Digital transformation was actually an issue that was on the agenda of many companies before the pandemic. However, its importance has been understood once again during the Covid-19 outbreak. Digital transformation has become necessary in many sectors in order for production to progress in the planned operation without being affected by space, time and even human factors. As a company, we have been managing our material stock, order, supply, sales and logistics processes digitally for about a year. Thus, in the first periods of the pandemic in our country, our employees ensured that their work was followed up with the software process over the cloud without being connected to the office. For this reason, we did not encounter any disruption in our work. As a result of the digitalization investments we have increased in recent years, we plan to monitor our production, warehouse tracking and all other business processes from the cloud in 2021."

"Growing by providing employment will always continue to be our primary goal"

Emphasizing that they made significant R&D investments in 2019 and received the results of this in 2020, Şakar stated that they received approval from the projects they submitted to TÜBİTAK and made the following statements; "Next year, we will allocate 5 percent of our turnover to our R&D investments. In our renewed and growing factory, we plan to produce new generation electronic products with stronger R & D studies and to take test and measurement activities into our own structure. At the center of all these investments and business plans, people are always at the priority. The whole world has once again learned the importance of protecting human health and ensuring occupational safety during the pandemic process. At this point, while increasing our adaptation to digital transformation in the new world order where everything is automated, it will always be our primary goal to grow by providing employment for our company."

"We aim to carry our new high-tech product worldwide"

Stating that they plan to further develop the DynamiX Active Harmonic Filter, a high-tech product that puts an end to the energy quality problems of industrialists, of which they are the first and only manufacturer in Turkey, into a worldwide product in 2021, Şakar said, "In the light of our understanding of continuous development, developments will continue in all our products next year. In particular, by integrating the communication system into our DynamiX Active Harmonic Filter product, we want to follow our product from the cloud and improve its software features. This high-tech product avoids harmonics in industrial and commercial facilities, which means electrical pollution, and power quality problems caused by high neutral ground voltage. With DynamiX , which aims to eliminate business losses and production inefficiencies, we are positioned as one of the companies that produce the highest performing active harmonic filters in the sector worldwide."
