The "Practical Application of Operational Responsibility Training in HV Facilities" organized by EMO Ankara Branch was held on July 10, 2020 at EVA Elektromekanik facilities, a manufacturer of high voltage equipment and equipment.

EVA ELEKTROMEKANIK Metal Enclosed Modular Cells and Monoblock Concrete KiosksDuring the training, EVA Electromechanics officials made presentations to the participants about the production facilities and the production stages of high voltage equipment and equipment. Participants of the practical training had detailed information about the products while making examinations about the "Air Insulated Cell" productions and "Monoblock Concrete Kiosk" types.

EVA Electromechanical Co-Founder and Marketing Manager Süleyman Yorulmaz, who made statements about the training process, said: The authorized persons who undertake the execution of the necessary operating services in order to ensure the safety of life and property and to prevent losses in the Electrical High Voltage Facilities are called "High Voltage Operation Responsible".The engineers who will undertake the responsibility of operation are given by EMO ''Electricity Y.G. Facilities Operation Responsibility'' and SMM certificate. At this point, we were honored to be a part of such an important training organized by EMO Ankara Branch. We would like to thank everyone and participants who contributed to this training, especially EMO Ankara Branch Board Members Özgür Karagülle, Barış Tombak and Ferhat Delibaş.

Our Metal Enclosed Modular Cells and Monoblock Concrete KiosksThe participants were informed about the production stages, product types and usage purposes of our Metal Enclosed Modular Cells and Monoblock Concrete Kiosks. In addition, participants had the chance to maneuver on modular cells while examining our products in detail. Again, in the training, the maneuvering instructions to be followed in the situations of power cutting and discharging in high voltage facilities and the applications about the work and operation sequences of the OHS equipment to be followed and used were shown.

What is High Voltage Operating Responsibility?

The Responsibility for the Operation of High Voltage Facilities was published in the Official Gazette No. 25406 on 18.03.2004 and entered into force and was updated with the amendment in the Official Gazette dated January 12, 2008 and numbered 26754. As stated in the relevant regulation, transformer electrical facilities are obliged to employ an Electrical or Electrical-Electronics Engineer with a "High Voltage Operation Responsibility" certificate on the grounds that it provides high voltage contact to the electricity network or to receive services from EMO member Independent Consultant Engineer who has received the relevant training and has the certificate.

Why is it done?

In all high-voltage strong current installations, there must be an electrical engineer responsible for technical issues. The responsibility of the engineer in charge of the operation in terms of occupational safety and occupational safety; to determine the occupational safety methods to be followed in the facility, to determine the rules to be followed for a safe operation and to determine the necessary tools and to make inspections to comply with the said rules. (Regulation on Electric High Current Installations, Article.60, Date and Number of Official Gazette: 30.11.2000 / 24246)

Our Metal Enclosed Modular Cells and Monoblock Concrete KiosksIn all high-voltage facilities, the person responsible for representing the owner of the enterprise before the organization providing energy is the Business Officer. It is the duty of the operating responsible to request a power cut from the energy supplying organization, to request the re-energization, to maintain the necessary relations with the energy provider in matters such as interruption, failure and similar issues. It is among the obligations of the operating responsible to prepare a report to be submitted to the energy provider, the employer and the relevant EMO unit regarding the status of the facility, the works to be carried out, the problems, solution proposals and the measures to be taken regarding the facility for which responsibility is taken, if any, at most every four months.
