Sarajevo Educators Visit to 'Stars of Energy'
- 29 educators from Sarajevo School of Electrical Engineering visited the 'High Voltage Laboratory' established by BEDAŞ at İnönü Vocational and Technical Anatolian High School within the framework of the 'Stars of Energy' project and received information

The 'Stars of Energy' project, which was initiated by the distribution companies of Cengiz and Kolin Group of Companies with the aim of reaching the quality, trained human resources needed in the sector, hosted its first guests from abroad. Educators of Sarajevo School of Electrical Engineering visited the 'High Voltage Laboratory' established by Boğaziçi Elektrik Dağıtım A.Ş. (BEDAŞ), which initiated the establishment of a High Voltage Branch at İnönü Vocational and Technical Anatolian High School in Bayrampaşa within the framework of the project, so that students could receive practical training. 29 teachers from Sarajevo, who came to visit with interest in the 'Stars of Energy' project, received information about the High Voltage Laboratory.
WITH EU STANDARDS Educators who visited the High Voltage Laboratory with EU standards created by BEDAŞ at Bayrampaşa İnönü Vocational and Technical Anatolian High School stated that such investments combining theory and practice are a great support for them while preparing students for the future.
BEDAŞ General Manager Murat Yiğit said, "We are aware that we have a great responsibility as the leading company in the electricity distribution sector to solve the shortage of qualified personnel. With this awareness, we started the 'Stars of Energy' project in order to transfer our knowledge to our students and to create a solution to the problem of qualified personnel in the sector. As the first step of the project, we established a 'High Voltage Laboratory' for our students to receive practical training at İnönü Vocational and Technical Anatolian High School, which welcomes us today. I would like to express my gratitude to our school principal Deniz Mutlu Güler who supported us in every way during this process. On this path that we set out with the goal of preparing our young people for the future, I believe that you, our esteemed guests, the teachers of the Sarajevo School of Electrical Engineering will make a great contribution to us with their knowledge."
SCHOLARSHIP AND INTERNSHIP OPPORTUNITIES ARE 
PROVIDED In the laboratory that was brought to education life by BEDAŞ after the Vocational Education Cooperation Protocol signed with the Ministry of National Education General Directorate of Vocational and Technical Education to produce solutions to the need for qualified personnel needed in the field of high voltage, students who prefer the High Voltage Branch learn all stages from the production of electricity to transmission and distribution practically. In the meantime, the managers and employees of BEDAŞ, which provides scholarship and internship opportunities to students, also mentor the students. The professional experience of BEDAŞ staff and the knowledge of teachers are melted in the same pot and presented to the students.
