Schneider Electric, a worldwide expert in the digital transformation of energy management and automation, took part in the Industry 4.0 Summit organized by TOBB in cooperation with MAKFED, ENOSAD and TUSAYDER with its technology and expertise. At the event, which focused on new generation technologies and applications within the scope of Industry 4.0, Schneider Electric Turkey, Central Asia and Pakistan Industry Business Unit Deputy General Manager Esin Gül shared the strong experience of the institution as a speaker.
Speaking at the ENOSAD special session titled 'What would happen if we opposed Industry 4.0?', Gül said; ²We see Industry 4.0 as a natural process of industrial evolution and we observe that staying out of it means staying out of industry and business. This evolution is currently shaped by three key trends. These are; electrification changing energy usage habits, decentralization resulting from the reduction in the costs of distributed energy resources, and digitalization through intelligent automation and digital technologies. Today, this reduces costs, creates innovative business models, creates technical innovations, and strengthens the value chain. New technologies are creating new jobs, consumers have more choice, and society's access to clean energy sources is increasing. As a company with more than 180 years of experience, we are developing technologies and solutions to lead this high-value transformation. We create extraordinary achievements within the framework of Industry 4.0 and energy efficiency expertise. EcoStruxure, which we launched in 2008, is a product of this experience and our answer to our customers' digital transformation needs.
