Teksan, which operates in the energy solutions sector, produced Turkey's first domestic generator in the power range of 275 – 550 kVA. Ford ECOTORQ Engine Generator series, which attracts attention with its superior performance and fuel economy, was introduced to the market with 18 generator models with three different engine options. Ford Otosan and Teksan Generator, both of which are the R&D leaders of the sector, have signed a giant cooperation for Ford ECOTORQ Motor Generators. Domestic generators developed by Turkish engineers will also contribute to the reduction of the foreign trade deficit.
Jumped the class in generator production with domestic engine
Teksan is a leading company in domestic production that has achieved many firsts in its sector with its investments in R&D. Teksan's R&D studies carried out with the aim of carrying the generators produced with domestic engines to higher segments have borne fruit with the Ford ECOTORQ Motor Generator Series. It succeeded in introducing the first generator produced with a domestic engine in the power range of 275 – 550 kVA in the sector to the market. Teksan Ford ECOTORQ Series generators, which also have a high export potential, were produced in Teksan Kocaeli factory with the highest generator production capacity in Turkey.
Ford Otosan and Teksan collaborated for domestic generator engine
When Teksan, working with the world's largest engine brands, wanted to produce generators in a higher power range with domestic engines, it crossed paths with Ford Otosan, the leading company of the Turkish industry, and the engineers of both companies started to work together for this purpose.
From heavy commercial vehicle engine to generator engine... A first for Ford Otosan as well!
With this cooperation, Ford Otosan, the leading commercial vehicle manufacturer, has added a new breath to the ECOTORQ engine series, which was previously used in heavy commercial vehicles. The company also benefited from Teksan Generator's engineering experience and developed an engine used in the generator industry for the first time. As a result of two years of intensive work, the engine, which was developed with the engineering power of Ford Otosan in accordance with industrial use, was produced in the Eskişehir factory.
Produced in Turkey, will export to the world
Teksan Ford ECOTORQ Motor Generator Series stands out as the only domestic motor solution on the market in the power range of 275 kVA-550 kVA. Although Teksan had generators produced with domestic engines in its product portfolio before, Ford achieved a first in this power range with the ECOTORQ Engine Generator Series. Turkey's pride generators from design to software, from engine to alternator all parts were developed and produced in our country. The design and production of the silent and less space-taking cabin also belongs to Teksan. Teksan Ford ECOTORQ Engine Generator Series; it has also successfully passed the tests carried out in the most demanding conditions. At the same time, it was able to operate at 110 percent load in one step. Teksan will contribute to the reduction of the foreign trade deficit by exporting Ford ECOTORQ Motor generators to the world as well as Turkey.
High performance, low fuel consumption
Teksan Ford ECOTORQ Series generators, which are durable and perform high even in difficult conditions, provide fuel savings of up to 10 percent compared to their European competitors. Since it is produced entirely in Turkey, product delivery time is shortened, while access to spare parts becomes easier and less costly. In the first stage, there are 3 different engine options and 18 generator models in the series, while new models will be added in the future. As in other product groups, Teksan also gives a 5-year warranty to the generators in the Ford ECOTORQ Engine Generator Series. It also offers 24/7 technical service and support.
Teksan targets 10 Million Euro turnover with its new product line

The first domestic Cogeneration-Trigeneration system and hybrid generator can be counted among them. The Ford ECOTORQ Engine Generator Series has emerged as a continuation of this approach. We aimed to produce domestic generators in a higher power range and cooperated with Ford Otosan for this. Thanks to the work of Ford Otosan and Teksan engineers, we produced the domestically powered Ford ECOTORQ Series Generators, which showed a very successful performance, in our Kocaeli factory.
