• Could you briefly tell us about yourself and your position in the company so that our readers get to know you better?

After graduating from Sakarya University Electrical and Electronics Engineering in 1999, I completed my master’s degree in Electrical Department in 2003. I worked as Sales Manager and General Coordinator of the Turkey distributor of international companies leading the industry in developing processes. I aim to take my experience in the industry and service sector for years under the umbrella of OMEGA PANO, both for myself and for my company. In this context, I bear the responsibility of this mission with the vision of being the best company in its field with the synergy we have created by bringing together our company’s sales, production, quality, finance, human resources, after-sales services, environmental policy, and social responsibility projects. I am married and have a 17-yearold son. My family, my passion for nature and outdoor sports are my biggest source of energy and motivation.


• What kind of changes have you made in your marketing strategies and goals during the pandemic period?


The pandemic period caused changes in the marketing and operating
strategies of almost all companies. Many companies decided to continue the process with online meetings instead of face-to-face meetings. First of all, since we are a warm-blooded nation, not being able to meet face to face bothered us, but this situation started to become a habit in time. Although this process strategically avoided organizations such as travel and fairs, it has pushed us to develop new strategies to raise our goals even higher. We aim to make a difference to our competitors with the development of the
skills of our existing staff in terms of education, quality and social responsibility, and the participation of our team members who are
skilled in their fields and who are competent in the market.


Where and how would you position your company in the sector,
considering the growth and competition process in the field of electrical panel manufacturing in our country?


The job we do is not easy at all; It requires bringing together many elements such as engineering, design, proposal, project design product selection and quality correctly and presenting them to the customer with effective prices. Contrary to what it seems, sustainability has gained importance even in capitalist size and crisis environments. We can evaluate the competition process at many points such as distributors of international companies, hair
manufacturers that have created their own brands, electromassage
companies that manufacture according to customer demands.


Sometimes this competition is between each category itself, as well as sometimes there are competition processes between categories. This process generally develops in favor of the end user and is reflected to equipment manufacturers with cost / profit analysis and causes quality to be lost over time. Here, the project and control companies have a great responsibility to protect and keep the manufacturer alive and to offer quality products to the user. We are such a big country that there are enough jobs and earnings for every firm in each category. As long as we can protect the moral and commercial values that fall on us in the panel sector.


• What are the new products in your production plan?


We are growing OMGPANO, which we started R&D studies and accelerated in terms of production in the past years, like a baby. We have provided great project references in the domestic and foreign markets in the developing process. OMGPANO has become one of the rare brands in Turkey that meet the technical criteria of high-level projects, with certificates of type testing, seismic and internal arc tests that meet international standards, and equivalent documents with leading international companies in their field. In order not to break the high-quality standards, OMGPANO will only assemble in Omega Panel factory.


What are the advantages of the new product? What kinds of gains and facilities does it offer to our industry?


It provides superiority to its competitors with its durability, capacity and IEC / EN 61439-1 / 2 Low Voltage Type Test, IEC 60068-3-3 Seismic Test, IEC 61641 Internal Arc Test Certificates as well as 690 V statement and 1000V insulation voltage resistance. We offer the quality product to our country with its durable carrier unit prepared by considering the industrial facilities, aesthetically appealing visuality, and ergonomic structure that provides ease of installation to the user.

What are your thoughts on the positive and negative implications of the pandemic process on the electricity sector and your company?

The pandemic process in which the world is involved has adversely affected the electricity sector as in every sector. However, at the point of sustainability, the electricity sector has not been affected by this crisis as heavily as other sectors. The measures taken in production facilities like us slowed down our production speed, our workforce losses occurred due to the contamination of the virus and the long quarantine periods, and our delivery times were delayed due to the same situation in our supply channels. With the measures taken in this regard, these processes are now under control.


When you evaluate the year 2020, how was the year for you and what are your goals for 2021?


We had a difficult year. When we evaluate the past month, we look at 2021 very positively from a commercial perspective. Behind this view lie our strategic preparations as well as the health measures. In addition, the predictions of other Omega Group companies regarding the market for this year are quite high, and they will increase the growth rate by creating a strong synergy with Omega Pano.


When you look at the businesses and the sector after the pandemic, what are your expectations from public institutions and organizations?


Here, I want to evaluate the assessment in general, not as postpandemic.
Public institutions should cooperate with professional organizations such as the Chamber of Electrical Engineers and the Association of Electrical Engineers for issues such as increasing production and product quality, protecting human health, and making the use of internationally accepted standards mandatory in our country.
