Aksa Generator has partnered with world giant Mitsubishi

The world brand Aksa Generator has established a high-tech generator production facility with the Japanese industrial giant Mitsubishi. New Asia Pacific-based company to create additional business volume of USD 100 million per year

Selling to 170 countries from America to Asia, from Africa to Oceania; Aksa Generator, which is one of the world's five largest generator manufacturers with its production facilities in Turkey, China and the USA, has signed an important cooperation that will increase its position in the world league as a global brand. Aksa Generator has established a joint Asia Pacific-based company with Japanese industrial giant Mitsubishi to produce high-tech generators.

The agreement for the establishment of the company, which will develop innovative solutions and offer high-tech products, was signed between Mitsubishi Heavy Industries (MHI), Japan's largest engine manufacturer, and Aksa Generator. The synergy that will be formed by bringing together the production technology of the engine giant Mitsubishi and the production power and engineering capacity of Aksa, one of the world's largest generator manufacturers, on the same platform will enable a more active role in new projects. The newly formed company will produce generators using Mitsubishi engines and create an additional business volume of 100 million USD per year.

Stating that Aksa Generator has been among the leaders not only in Turkey but also in global markets as a brand that has been the symbol of trust for 35 years, Aksa Generator CEO Alper Peker said that they have become a brand that directs the developments in the sector, not follows them. Stating that their partnership with Mitsubishi Heavy Industries will further accelerate the growth they have achieved in the world market, Peker continued:

"The choice and use of generators is becoming increasingly important in order to ensure continuity in energy requirements in our daily lives and working environment. In order to meet this need in the best way, worldwide technological developments need to be followed more closely. As Aksa Generator, we have always updated our technology, attached importance to innovation and most importantly, provided these developments in line with the changing needs of the sectors we serve. We are considering our cooperation with Mitsubishi in this direction. With this partnership, Aksa, Turkey's world-class generator brand, will rise to higher ranks in the world generator sector and the production power of Turkish engineering and Turkish industry will be carried to an even more solid position in the global arena."

Stating that the partnership process was realized as a result of negotiations involving technical, engineering and quality issues that took place over two years, Alper Peker said; "In the light of the evaluations and analyzes made by the expert Japanese authorities, Aksa Generator has successfully completed this process and partnered with the world giant thanks to its 35 years of experience in the sector and superior quality standards."  Drawing attention to the support of Turkey's rising brand image in recent years in Aksa Generator's global journey, Peker said, "The Turkish brand image, which has developed and strengthened accordingly, has been registered in the international arena with this cooperation."

The goal is to be one of the top three manufacturers

Stating that Aksa Generator is working with the goal of becoming one of the top three manufacturers in the world by 2025, Aksa Generator CEO Alper Peker also gave information about its growth strategies. Peker said, "As part of our growth strategy, as part of its growth strategy, we aim to enter the top three in the world market by continuing our investments in many countries in the African continent, North - South American countries and India, as well as in Europe. At the same time, we will accelerate our development by expanding our worldwide sales network by pursuing possible opportunities in the African and South American markets. In the long term, we aim to increase its market share in theBrazilian and Australian markets."

Became a world giant in 35 years

The company, the foundations of which were laid in 1968 and continued its life with the Aksa Generator brand in 1984, is among the companies that make a high contribution to the Turkish economy with its exports reaching 168 countries and being among the top five manufacturers in the global sector. Supporting the development of this continent by taking part in the African market for 20 years, Aksa Generator has three production facilities in Turkey, China and the USA. Providing services with 19 offices and 4 representative offices in Asia, Europe, Africa and America, Aksa reached a turnover of 1.5 billion TL in 2018. The company secured 65 percent of its turnover from overseas sales.

Aksa energy for giant projects

Aksa Generator, which takes part in giant projects such as Istanbul Airport, the world's largest airport, Ghana Kotoka Airport in the international arena, Ashgabat Olympic Complex, sells in many countries from New Caledonia Island to Comoros Islands and finally to Vanuatu, the tourism paradise of Oceania.

Performing innovative products that respond to the needs of different markets and sectors with R&D investments, Aksa Generator has signed projects that can feed the load of the entire system in 8 seconds.
