Big Step to Solve the Charging Problem of the Domestic Car

"As the world enters the era of electric vehicles, today is the time for solidarity to take part in this era of Turkey and to solve the charging problem of our domestic electric car, which we will soon see on the roads," said EVS and ZEBRA ELEKTRONIK, and decided to open the electric vehicle charging stations operating under the Sharz.net and Voltrun brands to the common use of their customers.

One of Turkey's leading electric vehicle charging station network companies, EVS - Electric Vehicle Systems Inc., which serves with the brand name SHARZ.NET, and Zebra Elektronik AŞ, which serves under the brand name VOLTRUN, has signed a first in Turkey today. Accordingly, VOLTRUN, which provides service with 140 service points, 180 charging stations and SHARZ.NET provides service with 80 service points and 120 charging stations, starts to provide charging services to vehicle owners with the number of stations close to 300 by opening charging station networks to common use by its customers.

Turkey's Automobile Initiative Group has started to work on our domestic and national electric car. The domestic electric vehicle will be on the road in two years. However, an advanced charging station network is needed in order for both domestic cars and other electric vehicles to be produced and widespread in our country. Believing in the importance of solidarity in this regard, EVS and Zebra companies opened their stations to joint use. Company officials announced that they will allow companies with electric vehicles and individual drivers to easily access the more extensive network of charging stations, and on this occasion they will encourage the transition to electric vehicles.

Company officials continued:

"The era of internal combustion motor vehicles in the world has begun to close and the era of electric vehicles has begun to be entered. Many countries have decided to ban the sale of internal combustion motor vehicles in the next decade, and the race to produce electric vehicles between countries has begun. In this race, the private sector should do its part in solidarity in order for our country to compete under the same conditions as the whole world. In this regard, there is no lack of technology in our country and there is a highly developed infrastructure. Turkey should take its place in this lane in this period when the electric vehicle era has just been entered and should be able to produce and sell its domestic cars, buses and trucks that meet its own needs. The sine qua non of this is; safe, easy and widespread charging infrastructure. At this point, we, as Sharz and Voltrun, joined forces and opened our station networks to common use. This will allow both Voltrun and Sharz customers to benefit from each of our stations and enjoy an uninterrupted journey."

SHARZ and VOLTRUN are companies established with 100% domestic capital and develop the charging station software and hardware required for electric vehicles in their work. With the technologies they have developed, they establish their own charging station networks in Turkey and at the same time, they provide software and hardware to entrepreneurs who want to establish a charging station network.

EVS - Electric Vehicle Systems Joint Stock Company establishes an electric vehicle charging station network with SHARZ brand. SHARZ brand has spread from Edirne to Artvin with the goal of "charging everywhere" in Turkey and has reached 140 service points and 180 charging stations in a short period of 2 years. In addition, EVS company provides a ready-made software platform to entrepreneurs who want to establish a charging network business with the "Electric charging stations operating system" software named SHARZ.NET.

Zebra Electronics Inc., It has been developing and selling domestic electric vehicle charging solutions since 2011. In addition, Zebra has established a charging station network under the brand name VOLTRUN (voltrun.com) and delivers its hardware and software developed entirely by Turkish engineers to its customers at home and abroad. The company, which provides charging station hardware and station operation software for everyone from individual users to apartment management, from entrepreneurs to energy giants, offers end-to-end charging solutions with operator activities.
