Don't Be Late to Get Your Mandatory Energy Study Done!
The second period of the energy survey, which companies with energy consumption of 5,000 TEP and above must have every four years compulsory, ends this year. Enervis General Manager Osman Kipoğlu, reminding that penal action will be applied to enterprises that do not conduct surveys until the end of 2019, said that support can be obtained from Enervis, which is authorized as an energy efficiency consultancy company (EVD). In Turkey, 40 percent of electricity consumption and 26 percent of natural gas consumption take place in industry. This situation leads to an increase in energy imports and greatly increases the costs of companies. However, research shows that there is a potential for savings of at least 20 percent in industry, at least 35 percent in buildings and at least 15 percent in transportation. On the other hand, important steps are being taken to use energy effectively, to prevent energy waste, to alleviate the burden of energy costs on the economy and to protect the environment. One of them is the energy survey, which is mandatory for companies with an annual energy consumption of 5,000 TEP (Tons of Equivalent Oil) and above. The "Regulation on Increasing Efficiency in the Use of Energy Resources and Energy" dated 27.10.2011, measures to increase energy efficiency are included in section 10. In accordance with clause "b"; Industrial enterprises with a total annual energy consumption of 5,000 TEP or more and buildings operating in the service sector with a total construction area of over 20 thousand square meters are required to have an energy survey carried out every four years. Osman Kipoğlu: While efficiency increases with energy survey, costs decrease Reminding that the second period for the mandatory energy studies first conducted in 2015 ended in 2019, Enervis General Manager Osman Kipoğlu said, "Enterprises that do not carry out energy studies by the end of this year will be penalized in accordance with the Energy Efficiency Law No. 5627. As Enervis, in every field of energy efficiency for companies that want to reveal the energy efficiency potential in their enterprises and fulfill their legal obligations without losing time; We provide measurement, survey, reporting, consultancy and application services. Osman Kipoğlu stated that they provide full range of services in the fields of energy efficiency consultancy and applications in industry and buildings, ISO 50001 Energy Management System consultancy, efficient facility design and applications (EPC), and that they have developed 634 projects so far within the scope of energy efficiency applications in industry, and said, "EWE AG, one of the four largest energy companies in Germany, has more than 85 years of experience in the sector and has more than 85 years of experience in the sector, and has been released from the industry with its German technology, quality understanding and know-how.
