"Annual Evaluation Meeting of Electricity Distribution Companies" was held in Gaziantep. At the meeting, customer satisfaction, evaluation of 2018 investments, investment targets and plans for 2019, service quality, audit and general lighting issues were discussed. The "Annual Evaluation Meeting of Electricity Distribution Companies", organized annually by the Ministry of Energy and Natural Resources and the Electricity Distribution Services Association – ELDER, was held in Gaziantep this year with the participation of public and private sector representatives. The meeting, hosted by Toroslar EDAŞ, was chaired by Abdullah Tancan, Deputy Minister of the Ministry of Energy and Natural Resources. The opening speeches of the meeting were made by Abdullah Tancan, Deputy Minister of the Ministry of Energy and Natural Resources, Serhat Çeçen, Chairman of the Board of Directors of ELDER, and Murat Pınar, General Manager of Enerjisa Distribution Companies. Approximately 150 people were present at the meeting, which was attended by EMRA, TEDAŞ, TEİAŞ and EÜAŞ General Directorates and 21 electricity distribution companies. In the meeting; customer satisfaction, evaluation of 2018 investments, 2019 investment targets and plans, service quality, audit and general lighting issues were discussed. Abdullah Tancan, Deputy Minister of the Ministry of Energy and Natural Resources , who met with sector representatives, emphasized customer satisfaction in his speech and said, "We have completed 2018 with the work of all our public and private sector stakeholders in order to ensure that our citizens have access to quality and uninterrupted electrical energy. We will work together to maximize customer satisfaction in 2019." ELDER Chairman Serhat Çeçen said that a large part of the investment of 20 billion TL pledged on behalf of the electricity distribution sector for the 3rd tariff period we are in has already been completed and said, "Our goal is a Turkey where there is no power outage in 2020. For this reason, we will continue to increase our investments in the coming tariff period." Murat Pınar, General Manager of Enerjisa Distribution Companies, emphasized that the projects and investments to be made in 2019 will be continued carefully with the aim of uninterrupted and quality service. Pınar said: "AYEDAŞ provides electricity distribution services to 20 million people in 14 provinces, including the Başkent and Toroslar regions. There is a great responsibility behind serving in such a big geography and the passion to always bring better to life. While setting out with our goal of providing the best service, we took customer needs into the focus of all our processes and made our plans on the basis of customer satisfaction in all our works. In 2019, we will continue our investments for quality and sustainable electricity distribution service by targeting the better in our regions."
