In 2019, our breakthrough year, we concentrated on projects with TÜBİTAK partners. One of the projects we realized in cooperation with METU and YTU has been approved, and the other is in the writing process. With these two TÜBİTAK TEYDEB (Technology and Innovation Support Programs Department) projects, we support industry-university cooperation projects. As a result of these studies, we aim to start the establishment process of "Elektra Elektronik R&D Center" in 2020."

"Our export volume is growing with our new investments"

Stating that they export domestic and national transformers and electronic products to nearly 60 countries in 6 different continents, Şakar stated that they added America to their export markets with the new investment of Elektra Elektronik and made the following statements: "In addition to Turkey, we have Elektra GmBH company in Germany and sales offices in China and America. We are the only company in Turkey with UL Certificate that makes it possible to export to America in the low voltage transformer and reactor sector. This year, we have taken South America, Asia Pacific and North Africa countries into our close brand. Our goal is to increase our export volume by 10 percent by increasing the number of countries we export to. In this direction, our investment and marketing researches related to the countries we believe in potential continue. In 2020, when we celebrate our 40th anniversary, we aim to increase our production volume, shorten product delivery times with fast and flexible production and maintain our leading position in the market. With the impact of growth, we plan to increase employment in our production, sales and R&D departments."

Our transformer product line includes control transformers, isolation transformers, auto transformers and medical transformers. Our reactor product range is also very rich. These products are used in very important projects at home and abroad. Thanks to our government-supported R&D projects and our work carried out with our own resources, we stand out with our medium and high voltage filter compensation products, harmonic filtration solutions and static contactor fast compensation solutions. Turkey's first and only domestically produced active harmonic filter, which we produce as a result of our intensive R & D studies, is one of our products that make a difference. As a result of all these efforts, we aim to further increase the dominance of Turkish branded electronic products in the world markets."
