InnoEnergyhh, Europe's innovation engine for sustainable energy, has issued a call to startups from all over the world working in the field of electricity storage. The 15 most innovative enterprises to be selected from among the sustainable energy startups will receive a special value-added services package, and the most successful startup will be awarded 100,000 euros in cash. Applications for startups will continue until October 30, 2018.
Since 2010, InnoEnergy has been working towards a renewable energy-oriented future for Europe and investing in a wide range of innovations in the field of renewable energy, from education to the end user, and has made a global call to startups from all over the world. Once the sustainable energy startups working in electricity storage make their first application, they will undergo an internal evaluation, a five-minute video phase and an independent expert evaluation. Following these stages, 30 selected applicants will present their ideas to two parallel juries and 15 innovative entrepreneurs will be selected from among them. The winner of the first place will be awarded with 100,000 Euros at the ceremony to be held in February. To support its work with the European Battery Association (EBA), InnoEnergy aims to be a hub of attraction and support for startups offering innovative technologies or business models focused on electricity storage systems. In particular, emphasis is placed on electricity storage innovations aimed at transportation, grids, distributed and mobile energy storage, energy efficiency increase and emission reduction. Applicants; The innovation of the business idea, its value proposition, the size of the relevant market, the scalability of the product/service, the founding team and ownership structure, competitive advantage, impact potential, will be evaluated according to the criteria of contribution to InnoEnergy as a business partner

Successful applicants will be included in one of InnoEnergy's business development programmes (Highway™ or Boostway™) and will be offered the opportunity to benefit from a dedicated package of support, training, services and financing. The Highway accelerator covers the rollout of products for startups that are just starting out; The Boostway program supports the growth of startups. Sustainable battery cell market will reach 250 billion Euros Founded in 2017, EBA (European Battery Association) aims to create a competitive and sustainable battery cell production value chain in Europe. To achieve this goal, InnoEnergy is working with more than 120 stakeholders within EBA to develop a new market worth €250 billion annually by 2025.
