Carrying 50 million passengers per day, the Turkish Elevator Sector operates around 3,000 contracting companies. In the elevator market, where 75 percent of the production is carried out by domestic and national companies, the production share of companies with foreign capital is 25 percent. All innovations in the elevator industry, which has a production and trade volume of billions of liras, are on display at the fair in Tüyap Beylikdüzü. 
Elevator Istanbul, one of the world's three largest elevator fairs organized by Tarsus Turkey with the support of AYSAD, is hosting industry leaders for the 16th time.
