Osmangazi EDAŞ monitors its employees in the field from the main control center with the Video Confirmation System it has put into practice. The images obtained thanks to the system, which can be used even in regions where there is no telephone signal, are also used in the training of Osmangazi EDAŞ employees.  

Osmangazi Electricity Distribution Joint Stock Company (OEDAŞ), which provides electricity distribution services for the provinces of Afyonkarahisar, Bilecik, Eskişehir, Kütahya and Uşak, uses the Video Confirmation System to cover all field operations in order to achieve the zero accident target in the field of Occupational Health and Safety.

Thanks to this system, remote live confirmation control can be easily provided within the framework of occupational health and safety in tasks that contain attention and danger from the field control center to electricity distribution field operations, from low and high voltage power transmission lines field operations to field operations to be carried out at height.

In the process that starts with the OEDAŞ field team communicating with the main control center through the "Video Confirmation System", all equipment can be controlled from the center and the video call continues during the activity. The interviews recorded thanks to the Video Confirmation System are used in the training of OEDAŞ employees.

 Osmangazi EDAŞ General Manager Fuat Celepci, stating that they have implemented another inspection mechanism thanks to the Video Confirmation System and that the field teams can establish a connection with the center even at points where there is no telephone signal, said, "Inaddition to meeting the electricity distribution service of the provinces we serve, we are also implementing our projects in the field of occupational health and safety in parallel with our technology investments. Because the safety of our employees is our top priority. Thanks to the Video Confirmation System, we have taken our occupational safety control mechanism one step further by using the possibilities of technology. Thanks to the Video Confirmation System, dangerous situations requiring attention within the scope of field activities have been reduced, while the loss of life in work accidents has been prevented. For example; Thanks to this system, it was seen that the occupational accidents experienced in 2020 decreased by 44% compared to the previous year. We aim to reduce all occupational accidents to zero with our projects."
