Osram, which directs its activities with the motto "We Illuminate the Future", proved its success with the car headlights it developed for VW Golf VII at Automechanika 2018, one of the most important organizations of the automotive sector. Osram received the best product award in the Electronic Equipment and Systems category. LEDriving was held for the 20th time this year at the Frankfurt Trade Fair to honour promising pioneering products and solutions. Osram LEDriving's car headlights for the VW Golf VII were deemed worthy of the innovation award by the jury of independent experts, standing out among 120 nominees in the Electronic Equipment and Systems category. In the Automechanika Innovation Awards, companies; innovative content, economic effectiveness, functionality. Apart from these points, suitability for after-sales products and services, safety and quality, contribution to sustainability, effective use of resources and environmental protection are also evaluated. LED headlights, which stand out with the fact that the legal regulation (ECE R112) has 200 percent more luminous flux, provide less energy consumption. The car headlights developed by Osram LEDriving for the VW Golf VII offer easy installation with their robust structures and features that do not require additional modification on the vehicle.
