A new assignment has been made at Prysmian Group. Tamer Yavuztürk, Marketing and Business Development Director of Türk Prysmian Cable, became the Marketing and Communications Director of Prysmian Group MEAT Region, which includes the Middle East, Africa, India and Turkey. In his new global role, Yavuztürk will be responsible for all marketing and communication activities of the MEAT region.

Tamer Yavuztürk, who has been working in various positions for about 15 years within Türk Prysmian Kablo, the Turkey operation of Prysmian Group, the leader of the worldwide energy and telecommunication cables sector, has been appointed to a global position. Tamer Yavuztürk, who has been the Marketing and Business Development Director of Türk Prysmian Kablo since 2014, has become the Marketing and Communication Director of Prysmian Group MEAT Region.

In his new position, Yavuztürk will continue his role in Turkey while at the same time being responsible for all marketing and communication activities of the Prysmian Group MEAT Region, which also covers the Middle East, Africa and India.

A graduate of Istanbul Technical University Electrical Engineering, Tamer Yavuztürk holds an MBA in International Marketing from the University of Leicester and a master's degree in Financial Economics from Istanbul Bilgi University. Yavuztürk, who assumed the role of product manager at Türk Pirelli in 2005, has worked as a manager in different departments such as marketing chief, export regional manager, key account manager at Türk Prysmian Kablo since 2009. Yavuztürk is currently a member of the Board of Directors of the Association of Electrical Installation Engineers (ETMD) and the Chairman of the Technical Committee of the Turkish Cable Industrialists' Association (KABLODER ).
