How Pulse Current Switches Work

Pulse current switch, also known in the market as an impulse relay or teller, is a circuit switching element used to control lighting circuits from more than one point. Pulse current switches allow users to control the lighting systems to which they are connected with push-buttons, while providing economical and easy solutions for illuminating large areas. Thanks to the special switching mechanism in the pulse current switch, as soon as the push-button is pressed once, the lighting circuit switches to the closed position if it is open and to the open position if it is closed, and this switching process is provided from many points with push-buttons. Sigma pulse current switches are produced with 1NO(normally open) contacts at 16A, 230V operating values.

How Do Pulse Current Switches Work?

As soon as the push-button is pressed, a signal is sent to the Sigma pulse currentswitch and the coil of the switch is energized. As a result, the contacts change position until the next blow comes. The fact that the contacts maintain their current position until the next blow arrives is ensured by the special locking mechanism inside the pulse current switch.
