The response time to short-circuit current is much faster than that of thermal-magnetic switches. (Thermal-magnetic switches cut the short-circuit current by about 10 ms and sigma switches by about 1 m) and there is no severe deformation that causes injuries at the time of short-circuiting.

The cutting capacity is much higher than thermal magnetic switches (100kA).

Sigma Vertical Type Fused Load Separators;

  • Design suitable for NNH000, NH00, NH1, NH2, NH3 fuse use.
  • They can open the 3 phases together or separately.
  • It has high cutting capacity.
  • The arc formed by the arc separators is prevented from damaging the cutter.
  • The body material is made of fireproof BMC material with very high mechanical and electrical insulation properties.
  • The plug-holder contacts are silver-plated.
  • It can be observed from the outside that the fuse wire melts.
  • Power losses are low.
  • It is possible to measure the currents of each phase with current transformers.
  • Thanks to the lower body designed for ease of installation in the enclosures, the depth difference between 160A and 250,400,630A has been eliminated.
  • The conductor busbars carrying current in the 250,400,630A group are manufactured as a monolith instead of riveting to prevent power losses that cause heat increase.
  • Compliant with AC23B/AC22B/AC21B usage class
  • All plastic parts used are made of thermoplastic raw material with V0 flammability property.
  • All fasteners (bolts, washers,..) are made of corrosion-resistant stainless steel material.
