Solar Organic Thin Film Technology is Now in Turkey
I-SUN Energy and Heliatek brought HeliaFilm, which is shown as the latest technology in solar films in the world, to Turkey with their cooperation. The first implementation of the project, which aims to increase the use of renewable energy instead of consuming decreasing resources, was carried out in a private school in Turkey. With the applied technology, an average of 2500 kWh electricity production will be provided per year. Heliatek, which operates in Germany with I-SUN Energy, Turkey's leading company in solar energy, and brings new technology to the world, has moved HeliaFilm, where solar organic thin film technology is used, to Turkey. With the project carried out to increase the use of clean energy and environmental awareness in the world of the future, more than the average electricity need of a house will be met with this technology. Stating that they aim to be one of the leading institutions in Europe in solar energy, Veysel Sarıkaya, Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of I-SUN Energy, said the following about the partnership: "As I-SUN Energy, we have been working since the day we were established to make solar energy a part of our daily lives and to bring innovative applications to all our people. By developing environmentalist and innovative ideas about solar energy; Our biggest goal is to carry the most effective long-term solutions to Turkey. We will make a great contribution to our country's economy by expanding our practices and increasing our investment in Turkey." I-SUN Energy General Manager Kutay Mutdoğan stated that they are very proud to have brought the latest technology in solar energy production to Turkey with this pilot application they have carried out together with Heliatek and that they will continue to develop projects to increase the usage areas of solar panels. Jan Kiel, Managing Director and CFO of Heliatek, a world leader in the development and production of large-space, flexible solar films called HeliaFilm and HeliaSol, said: "Turkey is a climate fit country for solar energy production. That is why we are very pleased to have made such a successful start in Istanbul. With I-SUN Energy, we will have an important partner with an excellent technological understanding in the field of solar energy. Together, we can make energy production in Turkey more sustainable and thus make a significant contribution to reducing carbon emissions." Tomorrow's exteriors will be   shaped by HeliaFilm HeliaFilm, where solar organic thin film technology is used, has more usage areas than traditional solar panel technology thanks to its thin and light structure. Its structure, which can stretch up to a radius of at least 10cm, prevents damage to solar films and ensures that it does not hold dirt on it. In this way, maintenance costs are less than traditional panel technology and there is no decrease in efficiency. HeliaFilm meets the urban power requirement with its wide color range and ensures the aesthetic shaping of concrete facades. Since the product can be applied on flexible surfaces, it is often preferred by architects and planners around the world. The product can also adapt to steel, PVC coating, glass, polycarbonate, aluminum, foil, fiber cement or concrete surfaces thanks to its easy and risk-free application method. Among the most important features of the product are that it does not carry risks in places with insufficient load capacity, does not require roof penetration; With a single engineering stage, it does not need detailed planning, does not create wind load and does not damage the functionality of the roof. In addition to all these features, the key point where organic thin solar film technology differs from traditional PV technologies is that there is no loss of efficiency due to temperature increase, on the contrary, it has a great advantage by increasing yield by 25%.
