Leader in the energy and telecommunications cables industry Prysmian Group's Turkey operation Türk Prysmian Kablo's new CEO Ülkü Özcan has begun. Ülkü Özcan started her new duty as of June 1, 2021.

Following the appointment of Cinzia Farisè, who has been the CEO of Türk Prysmian Kablo for about two years, as the CEO of Prysmian Group's MEAT Region; Ülkü Özcan was appointed to the senior management of Türk Prysmian Kablo.

Ülkü Özcan, who holds a bachelor's degree in Business Administration from Marmara University in English, worked as a Senior Strategist, Strategy and Business Development Manager and Marketing Manager at Lafarge Turkey between 1998 and 2010, respectively. In 2010, Ülkü Özcan worked in many positions at Çimsa Cement, a part of Sabancı Holding, and most recently served as the CEO of Çimsa. Özcan left Çimsa in 2020 and worked as a consultant to Turkish and foreign companies during this period. Ülkü Özcan, who took over the management of Türk Prysmian Kablo, will continue his successful works under the roof of Prysmian Group from now on.

Prysmian Group stands out for its women's employment Prysmian Group, which makes a difference with the importance it attaches to women's employment, until 2022; increase the proportion of women in the total workforce to 17-19 percent from 16.9 percent in 2020, and to 40 percent of newly hired white-collar employees from 34 percent in 2020; It aims to increase the proportion of female managers from 21.9 percent to 25-27 percent, thus further improving the gender balance ratio.
