What should be considered when using a Compact Switch?
Excessive currents generated in the electrical system can cause destructive damage to the loads and cables connected to the electrical system. We can mention some important situations to be considered for compact switches, which are the leading protection elements against overcurrents, in other words, thermal magnetic circuit breakers. This feature is provided by the contact structure of the switches, which is created in a special form. With the limiter feature, in case of any short circuit, the switch contacts are rapidly separated from each other before the short-circuit currents reach their expected value, so that the switch is not exposed to high currents, high heat and high pressure.
