Dr. Oren Kablo was preferred in the Lütfi Kırdar Kartal Training and Research Hospital project.
Built on a closed area of 300.000 m2 with a capacity of 1,000 beds, approximately 55,000 m2 of usable area, Dr. Oren Kablo brand was preferred for all weak current cables used in Lütfi Kırdar Kartal Training and Research Hospital
The project was carried out in such a way that it could provide uninterrupted service immediately after a possible earthquake. Through the high-tech equipment placed on the foundation of the project, the effects of the additional loads brought on the structure by the strong ground movements caused by earthquakes will be limited. This new technique, which has been successfully applied for years in many developed countries facing the danger of earthquakes, especially in Japan, is also called "Earthquake Independent Building" technology.
The hospital, which is the first public hospital in Turkey to be a candidate for the Green Building (Leed Gold) Certificate and will be equipped with energy saving systems, will be able to produce some of its own electricity from natural gas with the trigeneration method. With the heat energy released, the hospital will be heated and cooled, significantly reducing operating costs.
Dr. In the project of Lütfi Kırdar Kartal Training and Research Hospital, Fire Alarm Cables, Communication Cables, Fire Resistant Cables, Coaxial Cables, Data Cables and Signal-Control Cables were used.
All cables used with ÖREN Kablo brand have the feature of delaying the flame in the event of fire and not emitting toxic and corrosive gases in the event of fire. It is a fact that cables caused the expansion of large and deadly fires that occurred in the past. The vast majority of deaths were also proven to be toxic gases released at the time of the fire. For this reason, it is very important to make conscious choices in such projects where human density is high.
