Flag Change at Enerjisa Enerji

Ziya Erdem, who has been the CEO of Enerjisa Enerji A.Ş., a subsidiary of Sabancı Holding and E.ON, since 2018, has decided to leave his position as of October 31, 2019.

As of November 1, 2019, Murat Pınar, who is currently the General Manager of Enerjisa Distribution Companies, was appointed as the CEO of Enerjisa Enerji A.Ş.

Murat Pınar graduated from Karadeniz Technical University, Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering and received his MBA from London School of Commerce & University of Wales.

Murat Pınar, who started his professional career at Siemens in 1998, worked as Field Operations Manager responsible for 13 different countries and program manager in Telecommunications, Fiber Optics, Infrastructure, Construction and Integration processes at Nokia NSN from 2005 to 2010.

Murat Pınar joined Enerjisa in 2010 and held various senior management roles in the Enerjisa distribution regions Başkent, Ayedaş and Toroslar, which provided electricity distribution services to 9 million customers and 21 million people in 14 provinces until 2015.

In particular, by undertaking the responsibilities of carrying out operational excellence studies, maturing business models, taking part in the development of sector dynamics and establishing investment programs, Enerjisa has made a great contribution to the processes of integration, growth and progress of Enerjisa Distribution Companies.

Murat Pınar was appointed as the General Manager of Enerjisa Distribution Companies as of 2015. He is the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Distribution Companies and a member of the Board of Directors of ELDER (Electricity Distribution Services Association).
