**Sepaş Enerji, which is the contracted supply company of Bolu, Düzce Sakarya and Kocaeli and serves more than 1.7 million customers all over Turkey, has started to reap the fruits of the infrastructure investments it made last year. Sepaş Energy General Manager Ondrej Safar, who summarized the works carried out during the 3 years he took office, stated that Sepaş Energy is more than an electricity supply company and that he is proud of the innovations they have brought to the sector. Stating that they spend all their energy on their employees, the people of the region, or rather on people, Ondrej Safar said that Sepaş Energy is taking firm steps forward with the power it receives from its international shareholders in the field of energy. Ondrej Safar continued his words as follows: "We enter people's homes with electricity, which is an inseparable part of today's people, and we touch every moment of their lives. That's why we attach great importance to what we do. We are constantly thinking about how we can make our customers' lives easier and how we can take the customer experience to the next level. In this direction, we have carried out a great technological transformation in our company last year. As of this year, our work has begun to bear fruit." Sepaş Energy General Manager Ondrej Safar, stating that they are doing all kinds of work for the development of the cities they mainly serve, said that Kocaeli, Sakarya, Bolu and Düzce are the pupil cities of Turkey in both production and consumption. "We are happy to contribute to the economy of the region and to touch the socio-cultural lives of these cities," Safar said. Stating that Sepaş Energy's economic and performance have progressed successfully, Ondrej Safar continued his words as follows: "As Sepaş Energy, we had a successful 2017. We closed last year with a turnover of TL 2.8 billion. Compared to 2016, there was a 16 percent increase in our turnover. In the first quarter of 2018, our contribution to the region's economy reached TL 659,467." Ondrej Safar, who also made a brief assessment about the sector, stated that they were hopeful despite the difficult days the energy sector went through. Safar: "The latest situation in exchange rates unfortunately reflects negatively on our sector. What I mean by the negative here is that the exchange rate is constantly changing. However, we do not consider the picture in front of us as negative in any way. Such fluctuations in the exchange rate can periodically occur for every country. Such fluctuations pass through the income. We are a service-oriented company. We have full faith that Turkey is a country that has the power to overcome all kinds of difficulties."
Our digital transformation efforts were rewarded Stating that they are focusing on infrastructure works to ensure one hundred percent customer satisfaction, Ondrej Safar said: "Earlier this year, we switched to the SAP system to handle our customers' transactions faster and smoother. We shared our successfully completed process with the leading brands of the energy sector at the International SAP Conference held in Lisbon. At the same time, at the Oracle Energy Summit held for the third time this year, we received the Digital Transformation Award within the scope of the 'Energy Sector Digital Transformation Awards'. In addition, we started 2018 with our international standard certificates ISO 9001: 2015 Quality Management System Standard, TS ISO / IEC 27001 Information Security Management System Standard, TS ISO 10002 Customer Complaints Management System Standard, TS EN 15838 Customer Relationship Center Management System Standard Certificates. As a requirement of the protection and standard of these documents, we apply continuous improvement studies. We are working to eliminate even the possibility of making mistakes. This keeps us dynamic all the time." Ease of Payment to Debtor Customers Stating that they worked on indebted customers in 2018, Ondrej Safar said, "In 2018, we launched campaigns where we applied 100% interest reduction for overdue invoices for all our free consumers and national tariff residential consumers. In addition, another campaign of ours, which will continue until December 31, is that all Sepaş Energy customers who were in execution in 2016 and before can benefit from the opportunity of 100% interest reduction if they pay all their past debts." Emphasizing that the work for consumers is not limited to infrastructure innovations, Ondrej Safar continued: "We have set lower and upper limits according to the invoice amounts of our customers. Thanks to the lower limit of the invoice, we issue invoices to our customers who do not fill the additional cost of 25 kWh and 5 TL when they consume above this limit. Likewise, thanks to the upper limit, we have prevented our customers from sending erroneous invoices. While constantly informing our customers with the notes we have fallen under the invoice, we started to send our customers their invoices to them as an e-mail one day after creating them if they have up-to-date e-mail addresses. In addition, in order to provide convenience in a period when our regular paying customers have difficulty in paying bills, we have created a risk point system according to the payment habits of our customers. Ondrej Safar: "We meet our consumers through different channels" Stating that they attach importance to always being accessible to consumers, Sepaş Energy General Manager Ondrej Safar stated that they are one step closer to consumers through call center, customer service centers, social media accounts they actively use, WhatsApp and websites. Safar continued his words as follows: "As a company that has customers in almost all provinces of Turkey, we serve with 63 dealers all over Turkey. I can proudly say that our dealer organization is the first for our sector. In addition, we process approximately 45,000 transactions per month, including approximately 2,200 per day in our 21 customer service centers. Every month, about 50,000 people travel through our customer service. We have also set up a system where consumers will not need to come to our service centers for many different transactions. Our customers can have information about all the issues they are curious about from our call center, as well as all demand, suggestion complaint records, transfer subscription and evacuation transactions, information update operations from the call center. In addition, they can make debt inquiry transactions by dialing the contract account numbers from the voice response system without connecting to the customer representative. Our customer who comes to our website can calculate the advantage he will gain in his invoice or have a pleasant time among our blog topics with different content." We
come together with the people of the region with social responsibility projects Stating that they focus on working for children, Safar gave the following information about their corporate social responsibility projects: "Most recently, we completed our 'Sepaş Energy is looking for its little YouTuber' project. Our goal with this project was to raise awareness of children about energy conservation while creating awareness through social media. And we've been pretty successful. The first video of 9-year-old Sude Erçit, the winner of our competition, which was shot with the support of Sepaş Enerji, was watched by over 500 thousand people on YouTube. In addition to this project, more than 20 thousand children visited the Sepaş Energy Electricity Center we opened in KidZania within a year. While becoming an Energy Saving Expert, children had the chance to learn what energy is, which is an integral part of daily life, in which areas it is used, its importance and tricks about energy saving. Projects that touch the public from the "Energy of Nature" to the Toy Museum... Again this year, together with Coşkun Aral, we started a project that was very valuable for us. In the "Energy of Nature" themed photography contest that we organized to remind the relationship of man with nature, we are looking for three people who best explain the energy that nature gives to humanity through the art of photography. The applications for the competition have just been completed, and we will announce the results in July. Thousands of people have shared their photos with us. We are also very excited about this competition. The three lucky people selected will go to Cappadocia with Coşkun Aral and learn the subtleties of the art of photography from the master name. Last year, the Toy Museum went on a tour under the sponsorship of Sepaş Energy. Within the scope of the tour, which lasted a total of 40 days, including 10 days in each of the provinces of Kocaeli, Sakarya, Bolu and Düzce, thousands of people had the chance to see the most popular examples of toy history from the 1700s to the present day. We continue our support to culture and art with the sponsorship of the Toy Museum. As Sepaş Enerji, we are also proud of the support we give to Turkish Canoe National Team athlete Mustafa Özmen. Mustafa, who ranks 10th in his category in the world rankings, is considered by the authorities to be one of the most promising athletes." Stating that they have not forgotten their employees, Ondrej Safar stated that Sepaş Enerji has been awarded for its efforts towards women's employment for two years and said: "As a male manager, I am proud to say that the ratio of female employees in our company has approached fifty percent. Going a step further, this year we started the equal opportunity project in partnership with the EBRD. I believe that the reflections of this project on our company will be very positive. This year, as Akkök Group of Companies, we also received the Respect for Human Award at the Human Resources Summit organized under the main sponsorship of Kariyer.net. This award is extremely important for us as it is given to the companies that respond to the candidate applications one hundred percent, employ the most and apply the most."
