Türk Prysmian Kablo CEO Farisè: "We are connecting Turkey to the future"

Cinzia Farisè, Italian CEO of Türk Prysmian Kablo, attended the Turkish-Italian Business People Summit hosted by the Italian Chamber of Commerce and Industry. Farisè, who made a speech at the summit where new opportunities were evaluated in Turkey-Italy relations, said that they have been the leading and preferred cable supplier of the industry since 1964 and stated that they will continue to develop solutions that will create a competitive advantage for Turkey with the mission of "We connect Turkey to the future".

The Italian Chamber of Commerce and Industry organized the Turkish-Italian Business People Summit on November 27, 2019. Within the scope of the summit hosted by Italian Ambassador Massimo Gaiani, a forum on "New Opportunities in Turkey-Italy Trade Relations in the light of the regaining momentum of the Turkish economy" was held. Turkey-Italy relations were discussed at the forum where Livio Manzini, President of the Italian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and Riccardo Landi, President of the Italian Foreign Trade and Promotion Agency Istanbul, took part as speakers.In the panel organized after the forum, Generali Sigorta Chairman Mine Ayhan, Ferrero Chocolates Turkey General Manager Azmi Gümüşlüoğlu, Yapı Kredi Bank International and Multinational Companies Banking Director Fabio Bini, Türkiye Şişe ve Cam Fabrikaları A.Ş. Ahmet Kırman, Deputy Chairman and General Manager of the Board of Directors, Piero Mirra, General Manager and Vice President of Barilla Turkey, and Cinzia Farisè, CEO of Türk Prysmian Kablo, attended as speakers.

Türk Prysmian Kablo CEO Cinzia Farisè, with the mission of "Connecting Turkey to the Future"; He said that by taking part in mega projects such as the Eurasia Tunnel, Istanbul Airport and Marmaray, they added value to the Turkish economy and Turkey's production power, and also invested in the development of the cable industry with educational initiatives, training programs and new generation product and system development. Cinzia Farisè continued; "As the company that "spends the most on R&D" in the Turkish cable sector, we continue our work as a pioneer in the sector in our R&D Center in Mudanya, and we continue our investments in new environmentally friendly products and systems that will be least affected by fluctuations. We produce new generation cables and systems in accordance with the needs of developing industry and technology and the increasing demand in parallel with the development of communication in Turkey. In this sense, we are very happy to contribute to the development of many sectors in Turkey and to add value to the domestic and value-added production power and economy of our country with the common synergy we have created."

Cinzia Farisè said that the government has recently taken new steps to encourage employment, trade and industry and exports, pointing out that Turkey is in a very special position in this sense as a large part of the world's cable production has started to shift towards developing countries with increasing competition conditions. Farisè said, "Since Turkey is a country that values production and innovation, it complements each other in line with common goals with Italy, the second and largest industrial country in Europe. We are always ready to fulfill our duty to develop the relations of the two countries in a way that brings more benefits to both countries." he said.
Produces cables from Mudanya to the world
Türk Prysmian Kablo, which has made many investments since 1964 to increase its technology and production capacity, can produce 22 thousand different cables in its factory in Mudanya. All power cables up to 220 kV, communication cables with copper conductors up to 3,600 pairs, fiber optic cables, special cables used in industrial applications also bear the signature of Türk Prysmian Kablo.
